In 2004, AMP Capital Investors and Macquarie Bank formed a joint-venture to co-manage and list on the Australian Stock Exchange the $800 million energy utility fund, DUET. Kirkwoods provided PR and media relations services to support the formation of the joint venture and the IPO and listing of DUET, Australia's first listed energy fund.

UK Analyst & Media Tour 2001
Two years after its listing and following a number of UK acquisitions, AMP conducted a tour of the UK with Australian analysts and a select group of ?nance media, to broaden the market’s understanding of its international business operations and strategy. We coordinated the media leg of the tour, contemporaneous with the analyst tour, which generated investor support and a clearer understanding of the group’s strategy.

AMP Capital Investors
Kirkwoods developed the corporate communication strategy and oversaw its execution regarding the hostile takeover of the AMP Shopping Centre Trust, and subsequent divestment of the remaining internally managed Listed Property Trusts – the AMP Diversifed Property Trust, AMP Office Trust and AMP Industrial Trust.
