JUSTIN KIRKWOOD

Kirkwoods Managing Director Justin Kirkwood has more than 25 years experience in financial services, funds management, financial markets, private equity, property and the infrastructure investment sectors. Since establishing Kirkwoods Corporate Relations in July 2004, Justin has consulted to a range of companies and groups across all industry sectors, in the investment and corporate arenas. 

Before establishing Kirkwoods in 2004, Justin was the Head of Corporate Affairs-Asia Pacific for AMP Henderson Global Investors, at the time Australia’s biggest investment management group. In this role he was responsible for media relations, internal communications, government relations and strategic communication for the group’s Asia Pacific operations across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand. As part of his nine year tenure at AMP, Justin was also the Head of Media Relations for AMP Limited from 1999-2002.

Prior to his career in corporate relations, Justin spent ten years working in the financial markets of Sydney and London as a capital markets broker with Tullet & Tokyo Forex and MW Marshall & Co. It was during this period, when financial markets in Australia were established and the Australian banking industry was deregulated, that Justin’s market skills were developed and sharpened. Justin has a Master of International Studies (University of Sydney) and a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from Charles Sturt University majoring in Public Affairs.

   

JEANNENE O'DAY

Jeannene O’Day is a Director of Barrepoint Advisors, a consultancy she established in 2003 (previously known as Lyon Group) to provide investor relations advice for ASX listed mid-cap and micro-cap companies. Kirkwoods and Barrepoint enjoy a strategic partnership.

Over the years, Jeannene has built a solid client base of listed and unlisted companies across multiple market sectors, including financial services, pharmaceuticals/ life sciences/ biotechnology, and IT services sectors.

Jeannene has been working in the financial markets since 1990 as a Corporate Financier and Institutional Dealer.  With extensive contacts within the Australian financial market community she has worked in senior roles for three major stockbrokers (Credit Suisse First Boston, Ord Minnett/JP Morgan Chase and Wilson HTM) and two major investment managers (AMP Asset Management and QIC). Jeannene has lived and worked in Tokyo, Hong Kong, France, the US and Australia. She has a BScEconomics International Relations from the London School of Economics.

   

VIISTI DICKENS

Bringing over twelve years communications experience, Viisti has a broad background in public relations, issues and crisis management, media relations, internal communications, digital strategy, leadership development, complex stakeholder relations, change and project management.

She has worked with top tier advisory and professional services firms on business transformation projects, as well as in-house and agency-side on a range of corporate communications, stakeholder relations and change management projects in Australia and overseas. She has diverse industry experience spanning telecommunications and technology, property, transport, consumer goods, and creative industries. Most recently she has been Principal Consultant of Generation V, a boutique change and communications consultancy.

Fluent in French and Spanish, Viisti has experience living and working in Vietnam, France, Chile, the UK and Australia. She has a Bachelor of Business (Communications), Masters of Business Law and a Masters of International Relations.
